SSAT Preparation Program
We understand admission to a top private school is one of the most important steps in a child's life. Our SSAT preparation program is uniquely designed to help students learn contents, build key skills, and acquire effective strategies to maximize performance and scores. Sessions are held one-one-one to meet student's individual learning needs. Taught by test experts, the course will focus on building Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Math, and Writing skills. Through SSAT preparation, students not only develop key academic skills but also build confidence to succeed in school.

SAT
College admissions are more competitive than ever. The SAT is a crucial part of the college admission process. Excel’s proven SAT prep program is designed to provide students the skills they need to master the test. Excel’s one-to-one SAT prep sessions will focus on Reading, Writing and Language, and Math. Students will become familiar with the format of the SAT and learn tricks and strategies to identify the concepts being tested in each question.
ACT
The ACT is designed to measure what you learn in high school. Excel’s ACT prep program focuses on building excellent time-management skills, along with mastering and becoming familiar with the exam’s structure. The individualized sessions will focus on English, Mathematics, Reading, Science, and Writing. Our carefully crafted curriculum and team of expert teachers will give you the confidence you need to reach your ACT score goal.
Academic Tutoring
Our academic tutoring programs assist students in addressing learning problems, overcoming specific challenges in a subject area and improving overall academic performance. Throughout each session, students receive individual attention and are taught at their own unique learning pace. Our experienced tutors provide extra help in understanding the fundamentals of a specific subject, conduct solid review sessions before tests and final exams, and develop study skills to increase academic performance. AP Exams
AP classes present some of the most difficult material you will encounter in high school. Also, since they are only offered once a year, you need to be ready to perform at your best on exam day. Excel AP prep courses dive deeply into the course material, giving you a fundamental understanding of the concepts that will be tested on the exam and reinforcing what you have learned in class. Excel’s qualified AP instructors give you the edge you need to ace our AP exams, get those college credits, and submit truly outstanding college applications.
College Consulting
With over 3,000 colleges to choose from and growing competition for admission, the college search and application process can be complicated and overwhelming. Excel’s Director, a Certified Educational Planner, will provide expert advice and guide you to make the experience manageable.

Power Reading & Math Enrichment (entering Grades 3–8)
Excel’s academic-enrichment courses are carefully designed to help students entering grades 3–8 get a head start on the knowledge necessary for academic success. Students build foundational skills in reading, writing, and math that will help them excel in virtually every class they will encounter in middle and high school.
SSAT Prep Course (Elementary, Middle & Upper Level)
We understand admission to a top private school is one of the most important steps in a child’s life. Our SSAT Prep Course is designed to build key skills and effective strategies to adequately prepare students for the test. One-on-one individualized tutoring sessions are customized to meet the learning needs of the students and are designed to maximize test-taking techniques and scores. The course will cover vocabulary building, reading comprehension, math, and essay writing. The prep sessions will also teach students time management and key test-taking strategies.
SAT/ACT Prep Course
SAT is a crucial part of the college admission process. Students are easily intimidated by the SAT which is almost a four-hour-long test. Excel’s SAT summer prep program is designed to give students the skills they need to master it. All sessions are one-on-one individualized, covering Reading, Writing and Language, and Math. Our qualified, experienced SAT instructors will help students get intimately familiar with the format of the SAT, learn strategies to identify the concepts being tested in each question, recognize and improve their weak areas, and ultimately raise scores.
